Tawnymucklagh Plot Number 16.

This is the field in front of the cemetery, the field immediately to the left of it and the house to the right, which is on the other side of the entrance lane to the cemetery gate. At this time, this was all one plot.

The land in plot 23 went with the houses here.

The house here is in fact two houses joined together. John Casey jnr lived in one of them with John Casey living in the other. Griffith always uses junior after a name when he refers to the son of a father with the same Christian name. This was to ensure that the correct person could be identified when money needed to be collected. Therefore, this was a father and son living side by side in two houses.

Griffith 1858.

This parcel of land was owned by James Casey jnr. and Laurence Casey with John Casey jnr. & John Casey each having a house on it.
