Tawnymucklagh Plot Number 18.

Leaving the village towards Ballaghadereen, plot 18 is accessed by taking the second lane on your left. All of the left hand boundary along the road from the lane opposite the cemetery in in this plot. There are 3 small fields on the right hand side of the road in this plot as well.

Griffith 1858.

John Sharkett, Dominick Sharkett, James Casey jnr. and Patrick Sharkett owned the land between them at this time. This was the Rundale system which leaves me to believe that the Sharketts were brothers or cousins. James Casey jnr., who had land in neighbouring plot 17, must have married a Sharkett sister.
